Building A Professional, Profitable, And High-Performance Organization.
A survey conducted by JobStreet.com in 2016 shows that "Singapore's workforce ranks the unhappiest amongst her Asian counterparts". Mercer, a global consulting leader, formulated a Singapore Employee Engagement Index. Its findings in 2018 showed that employee engagement in Singapore has declined consistently over the last three years. Singaporeans are "less satisfied with their employers compared to their counterparts in Asia Pacific".
In a bigger picture, according to the United Nation's latest World Happiness Report ?2018, Singapore ranks only 34th in the world. The ranking dropped by eight positions from the previous year. What are the root causes of the unhappiness level, especially among Singapore workers? Why has the HR department not resolved these issues? How can organizations develop their employees to become professional, passionate and performance-oriented about their work and career?
In this talk, you may not get all the answers but you'll hear provocative ideas that may inspire you to think deep and hard about leading and managing human talents. In doing so, you may have a breakthrough in developing radical and out-of-the-box strategies and initiatives to become a better leader and people manager. It may also show you how to run a professional, profitable and high performance team.
