The Compelling Business Case of Inclusive Leadership: It Increases EBIT by 9% points*
Diversity increases group intelligence. It is not just "the right thing to do"; it has a positive impact on the bottom line.
An HBR article reports that companies with above-average 'total' diversity had 9% points higher EBIT margins. Surely, all organisations are hurrying to invest in such a lucrative business opportunity?
Unfortunately not. Boards and executive floors are frequently dominated by white, heterosexual, able, middle aged men. Corporate budgets for D&I may be limited to hiring a person (or at best a department) to fix it. And let's face it: our current corporate cultures, leadership habits, and our biases are more likely to maintain the status quo.
Not including certain demographic groups means you are looking at a smaller talent pool, risk "group think", and reduce creativity and innovation.
Inclusion is a business case. And a compelling one.
Join this session to understand how you as a leader can create a culture of inclusion; a culture where everyone truly feels they belong.
